Club calendar

The calendar should only be for JBO functions or other functions occurring at the Boyle. Why would we put functions such as the Wolfetones concert that is being held in the Berkshires?

This has been discussed for decades. If the other function coincides with a Club function, you shouldn't advertise it.
I do like the idea of a small section of the newsletter being dedicated to other entertainment venues and points of interest to keep all of us updated on what's going on in the area.

I'd guess the idea behind it was to publicize events of an Irish nature beyond our walls that don't conflict with club events. Part of the "outreach" idea being espoused, as well, I'd assume.
However: point taken. Perhaps another page on the website, "Irish Interest in the Area" kind of thing is called for.
